If you are looking for No2 product reviews then you have probably heard of the hype surround No2; the big thing in the bodybuilding and supplements industry.  No2 is a product of Ed Byrd’s Medical Research Institute (MRI) and makes promises of major performance enhancement, including lean weight gain, muscle hardening, acceleration of fat twitch muscles and much faster recovery times.  How does No2 work in the system and what do the product’s supporters and detractors have to say about its effectiveness?

Before getting to the product reviews you need to make sure you understand the science behind these products and exactly what they are supposed to do. No2 uses the science of nitric oxide production to its advantage.  Nitric oxide is produced in your body naturally after muscle contraction and blood vessel dilation.  The benefits of nitric oxide have been studied for several years now, and are known to include:

  • Increased blood flow
  • Regulation of major organs and the
  • Release of adrenaline and gonadotroptin, which assist in muscle development.

However, in its natural setting nitric oxide’s effects are short-lived.  It was Byrd and MRI that first discovered that the effects of nitric oxide could be prolonged, namely by pHyser3 sustained-release technology.  No2 works as an extended-release nitric oxide generator and produces nitric oxide when Arginine is broken down by the nitric oxide synthase enzyme.  The prolonged effects of nitric oxide can significantly enhance performance, from increasing blood flow as the result of widening the channels (hemodilation), to improving recovery time and endurance and prolonging the pump of strong blood surges.  This allows athletes and body builders to build muscle quickly, sometimes feeling the effects of the extra nitric oxide production for an entire day.

Some have compared the No2 formula to steroidal drugs, because of the dynamic enhancement the supplement offers.  Byrd stated in an interview that the science is totally different and that No2 can’t truly be compared to steroids.  However, he did say he appreciated the comparison, as it is the goal of MRI to produce natural supplements that take on positive aspects of drugs, minus the harmful side effects.  What do users think about No2?  Is the product effective and are there any harmful side effects?

Positive and Negative No2 Product Reviews

The number one complaint of the product has been the high price, currently selling online for at least $80.00 per bottle, a spike in price over other supplemental formulas.  The high price has led some consumers to turn to generic versions of the product, or even enhanced versions created by other companies that are priced much lower.   Aside from the price, users have praised the performance of No2 with some stating that physical evidence was felt and observed within a week of taking No2 and continuing their exercise regiment.  Others stated that they felt stamina “spikes” when using the product and yet others were surprised to note substantial increases in strength and endurance—even conquering pressing feats that previously they could not overcome.

Negative reviews of the product have usually been of the “doesn’t work for me” variety, though a few users stated they felt minor side effects.  MRI acknowledges that an overdose of the product, failure to drink the recommended 64 ounces of water, can lead to side effects like nausea, diarrhea and weakness.  A few users also reported problems with headaches; these were also related to improper dosing or water consumption.  All in all, different users react differently to the effects of the product.  Since every one’s body, diet and regiment is different there is no standard answer to how effective No2 can be.  No2 product reviews can merely give you a good idea of what others are saying about this bold new formula in supplements.
