Can You Take NO2 and Drink Caffeine?

One of the more common NO2 FAQs is whether it is harmful to combine caffeine and NO2. There are contradicting studies regarding whether you can take NO2 and drink caffeine. If you take natural foods that contain NO2 such as cocoa which also contains caffeine you may be at risk.  The argument in favor of being able to take NO2 with caffeine is based on the fact that caffeine increases the intake of carbohydrates by the skeletal muscle. The favorable arguments are emphatic that Caffeine and Nitric Oxide can be taken at the same time because caffeine helps the uptake of NO2 contained in proteins and carbohydrates by skeletal muscles. NO2 in congruence with caffeine  gives an energy boost to muscles and gives extra strength to muscles.

Two popular muscle enhancer supplements, Viraxl and Labrada’s Super Charge are very popular among body builders. Both contain caffeine. Both these muscle enhancers clearly state the possible adverse effects that may arise out of taking these muscle enhancing NO2 containing supplements.  Those who are caffeine intolerant should avoid these muscle enhancers. They must be taken before  working out.  Before taking muscle enhancers with caffeine or otherwise, make sure you are over eighteen and consult a physician who will be better qualified to tell you if you need  NO2 and if you can  tolerate the NO2 supplement intake with caffeine.

The contra argument is that you should not take NO2 and drink caffeine. Caffeine reduces the effectiveness of nitric acid on the blood vessels. Researchers are strongly of the view that those who take muscle enhancing supplements containing NO2 should not have caffeine. Caffeine is known to be a vasio constrictor and can cause blood pressure abnormalities in the body. NO2 is produced by amino acids which are protein nutrients. Caffeine can retard the communication capabilities of proteins and retard the beneficial effects of cell communication and immunity enhancement   which Nitric Oxide helps to achieve in the body. Caffeine causes mental fuzziness, slows muscle growth and suppresses appetite. Including caffeine in a muscle enhancer is a cheap method   used by manufacturers to cover up a weak or ineffective NO2 muscle enhancer formula. Many muscle enhancers including the popular MRI NO2 muscle enhancer categorically state that they should not be taken with caffeine.

The FDA has not sanctioned muscle enhancers containing NO2 as drugs but as health supplements. These health supplements must carry the disclaimer that they cannot diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.  Supplements will carry instructions with regard to dosage and the possible nutritional hazards that may arise if taken with certain other foods. Make sure that you pay careful attention to the instructions to get optimum benefits from the muscle enhancer.

The controversy regarding whether caffeine is beneficial or detrimental  to health has shown no signs of conclusion. Until research about caffeine being good or bad for health is resolved conclusively,  the question of muscle enhancers working better  with caffeine or otherwise  cannot be answered. As of now, you have to  make an individual choice as to what works well for you. If you find drinking caffeine and taking NO2  makes you feel ill or uneasy, stop taking them together. If you feel the extra surge of strength that caffeine supposedly gives when taken with NO2 , enjoy a zestful workout.
